The 'Triplo A International Program of Quality - Ethanol' will be set up. The program has international recognition and it is the first and the only one in the world that includes simultaneously the technical-sanitary, social, administrative and environmental aspects in all of the links of the productive chains (farms, plants, transport, distribution and in service stations). The quality program serves the legislation of more than 140 countries, acting in the productive chains of corn (USA), sugarcane (Brazil), cellulose, and beetroot and in the other forms of extraction of ethanol globally known.

The companies which adhere to the program, which it is voluntary, will receive constant auditing, which will be accomplished by international certifier organisms from Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan. Auditing will be made on the farms, in the plants, in the transport and in the service stations, in any part of the world. The cost of the certification is very small and it will not interfere in the final price of the ethanol.

The certification puts an end to any doubt on how ethanol will be produced in the properties and certified plants. The quality program developed for ethanol regulates and supervises the whole productive process, either for corn, sugarcane or cellulose. The labor issues, of health and safety at work, salary, environmental administration, use and reuse of water, agro toxics, deforestation and reforestation, handling techniques, transport, physical and chemical aspects of the final product, among several other aspects, will constantly be supervised and they shall respect all of the legislations of the producing country and other control items, methods and constant procedures of the norm.
